Accounting Supervisor

This role requires in-person work in our Overland Park, KS office. 

Job Description 

As an Accounting Supervisor, you support all aspects of financial responsibility for Go Local Interactive. You analyze, interpret, and communicate the financial data and reports impacting our daily business. You manage general ledger, account reconciliation, and payroll. You prepare Ad Hoc financial requests and consolidated financial reporting packages. You cultivate and maintain relationships with our clients as you are responsible for billing, collections, and payables. You play a crucial role in analyzing opportunities and implementing process improvements to our Finance Department. In a senior role, you ensure that processes are efficient as can be, and optimize them as the team grows.

Job Expectations

• Prepare consolidated financial reporting packages 
• Prepare Ad Hoc financial requests 
• Responsible for client billing, collections, and payables
• Manage general ledger and account reconciliation 
• Interpret, translate, and communicate the billing and financial impacts each client contract has on the company 
• Manage and cultivate relationships internally and externally with product teams and current, past, and future clients  
• Conduct constant financial analysis and implement process improvements 
• Improve processes and provide recommendations on efficiency opportunities.

Job Qualifications

• Must demonstrate strategic and analytical thinking when solving problems
• Must demonstrate a proven track record of the ability to prioritize, organize, and multi-task in a flexible and fast paced environment to effectively meet deadlines
• Must demonstrate ability to be held and hold others accountable to best practices and legal compliance 
• Must demonstrate the ability to research and stay up-to-date on industry trends
• Demonstrated exemplary skills in Microsoft Office, primarily Excel
• Must demonstrate exemplary written and verbal communication skills 
• Knowledge of NetSuite system is preferred

Required Experience 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5-7 years in related accounting or finance experience 
• CPA is a plus

• Full-time; Monday through Friday
