Key Responsibilities

  • Risk and Control Environment. Responsible for ensuring a robust risk and control environment, including reporting and developing internal control processes.
  • Performs analysis, including NOPAT, and reviews balance sheet reconciliations. Responsible for all periodic tax filings.
  • Ensures that General Ledger accounting and Financial / Management Reporting is done in accordance with IFRS and APMM GAP.
  • Statutory Accounting and Audit: Takes care of statutory accounting and provides responses to all audit-related queries.
  • Board Pack Preparation
  • Manages the preparation of Board Packs.

We are looking for

  • Intermediate to Advanced English Level Required
  • 7 years' experience in accounting and reporting
  • 3-4 years' experience in leadership roles
  • Certified Accountant or equivalent degree in finance and accounting (or alternate finance)
  • Control Framework and IFRS experience (added advantage)
  • Excellent working method, including:
    • Proactive
    • Analytical
    • Innovative
    • Structured
  • Ability to adapt to high workload and unplanned activities
  • Exposure to global accounting process, Audit, IFRS, and guidelines
  • Stakeholder management and issue resolution

Skills Required

  • Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency
  • Seven years of experience in accounting and reporting
  • Three to four years of experience in leadership roles
  • Certified Accountant or equivalent degree in finance and accounting, or alternate finance qualification
