Accounting Supervisor - Springfield, OH

JOB POSITION SUMMARY

The Accounting Supervisor will assist in preparation of Financial Reports for Konecranes Mexico. The Accounting Supervisor will assist in testing, maintaining, and monitoring internal controls and policies to comply with Company guidelines. Prepare and manage journal entries. Reconcile and analyze accounts for the monthly, quarterly and year-end closing. Review the company’s accounting information to identify and resolve inaccuracies or imbalances. Be involved in system automatizations across functions and participate in new system or procedure implementations as it relates to recording and reporting financial data.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Preparation of monthly journal entries including accrual and provision adjustments.

· Participate in the completion of month end close checklists for all assigned action items to ensure meeting all corporate deadlines.

· Analysis of key GL accounts.

· Preparation of GL Account Reconciliations.

· Work with Financial Controller to evaluate and monitor that the internal controls and policies are implemented and followed.

· Assist with Internal and External audit inquiries.

· Improving processes, assisting with system and reporting development as needed.

· Work in close cooperation with other managers/ departments of the company.

· Become proficient with OneStream, Siebel and SAP.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

· Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.

· Must have excellent interpersonal skills, be well organized, and have prioritization skills.

· Ideal candidate is capable of handling a busy workload with multiple tasks, and work with minimal supervision.

· Competent skills in Microsoft Office, especially in Excel, are required. Experience with SAP is a plus.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

· A college degree/ diploma in Accounting or Finance.

· 2 to 3 years of related work experience

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

· Some travel may be required.
