About the role:

  • The right person for this role should love lists and checking them twice, because they’ll be responsible for reviewing and clearing daily ACH history against bank statements.
  • A typical day could include everything from monitoring outstanding checks to filing unclaimed property returns. 
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in the general ledger system
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures, including journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Assist with audits and compliance reviews by providing requested documentation and support
  • Most importantly, this position requires a detail-oriented person who loves numbers.

Requirements

About you:

  • You have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • You have at least two years of related accounting experience or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least two years of related accounting experience or training (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Experience with payroll processing and ACH reconciliation
  • Experience maintaining general ledger and performing month-end and year-end close tasks
  • Ability to prepare journal entries and perform account reconciliations
  • Ability to assist audits and provide documentation for compliance reviews
  • Detail-oriented with strong numeric accuracy
