We are looking for an ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST in SINGAPORE to assist on the day-to-day accounts payable and receivable functions to deliver exceptional experiences and outcomes
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and record payments to suppliers and service providers
- Ensure that invoices are paid within stated terms
- Maintain accounts receivable records
Essential Functions
- Responsible for check runs and wire transfer.
- Responsible for troubleshooting and correcting problem payables.
- Maintaining AP aging and ensure invoices are posted for delivered parts.
- Responsible for AMEX payment, posting and GL entries.
- Contact customers for timely payments and collections on past due accounts (if any).
- Manage and check references for new customers.
- Work with customers and Sales Representatives to resolve invoicing discrepancies.
- Override customer credit hold; work with Sales to resolve credit issues.
- Process Customer RMAs and credits.
- Enter, apply and post customer payment from checks, wire payments.
- Responsible for duties and obligations that may arise from time to time and as requested from company’s management.
Qualifications
- Education: Min. Diploma or equivalent (eg.ACCA)
- Experience: 1-2 years progressive experience in Accounting
- Computer literate
- Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
