MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
1. Bachelor of Science degree with a major or concentration in Accounting or Finance; OR High school diploma or equivalent AND Five (5) years’ experience in project management, accounting, payroll or accounts payable system.

1. Evaluates financial processes to maximize efficiency in the daily accounting operations. Ensures that internal control measures are being followed.
2. Investigates and communicates any variance issues in responsibility areas to supervisor or department director/manager.
3. Assists construction Project Managers with questions related to capital budgets, purchase commitments, and invoice payments.
4. Reconciles invoice payments with purchase commitments and verify appropriate application of sales/use tax to support month-end closing and financing draw-downs.
5. Assists Procure-To-Pay resolve open purchase commitments and unpaid invoices.
6. Analyzes and distributes construction payroll to capital projects on a monthly basis.
7. Prepares journal entries as needed.
8. Assists in disposing of surplus capital assets.
9. Assists in completing and compiling financial support documentation for budget and external audit purposes.
10. Participates in educational opportunities as provided by the hospital to enhance skill related abilities.
11. Supports performance improvement and quality assurance initiatives.
