As an Accounting Associate, you will be part of the Reporting and Financial Planning team, supporting the finance function in delivering timely and accurate financial reports, forecasts, and analyses. You’ll play an important role in ensuring efficient financial operations and providing reliable data that supports strategic and operational decision-making.
Responsibilities- Prepare periodic financial reports and performance summaries.
- Support the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements, including revenue and expense analysis.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
- Collect, review, and organize financial data for analysis and forecasting.
- Conduct variance analysis to compare actual results with budgets or forecasts.
- Assist in preparing budget and forecast templates, working files, and presentations.
- Reconcile and verify financial data to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Contribute to analyzing financial and operational metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and procedures.
- Support ad-hoc financial analyses and assist in building financial models as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance reporting processes and data quality.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor or management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- 4-6 years of experience in accounting or finance-related roles.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
