The Accounting Assistant (Receivables) will work a hybrid schedule from our Phoenix AZ office
Responsibilities:
- Post payments to invoices
- Take payment calls
- Respond to accounting emails in Inquiry inbox
- Follow up and send past due notices
- Issue disbursement of commissions and refunds
- Function as back-up to all AR positions, filling in as needed for PTO coverage
- Prepare 1099 annual reporting
- Call on outstanding checks to reissue payment
Requirements:
- 2-year degree (preferred) or equivalent of at least 2 years’ experience in practical accounting environment.
- Knowledge of automated accounting systems and financial software applications Prepare audit workpapers at year end and assist in audit completion
- Knowledge of automated accounting systems and financial software applications Knowledge of accounting PC applications.
- Extremely detail oriented as well as speedy and accurate with a strong commitment to and regard for tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and knowledge of online EDP environment.
The base salary offered for the successful candidate will be based on compensable factors such as job-relevant education, job-relevant experience, training, licensure, demonstrated competencies, geographic location, and other factors. Discretionary incentive compensation may be awarded.
