Job DescriptionSupport Professional with limited or no prior experience to contribute on a project or program. Role learns to use professional concepts to resolve problems of limited scope and complexity under close supervision while achieving day-to-day objectives. Works on developmental assignments that are initially routine in nature, requiring limited judgment and decision making. This level is typically focused on self-development. Requires theoretical knowledge through specific education and training.
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations using Workday, including cash, mortgage loans receivables, single family escrows, and mortgage servicing related revenues and expenses
• Assist in reconciling financial activity related to single family mortgage programs and grants
• Review financial data and identify discrepancies, researching and resolving routine issues
• Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account analysis
• Generate and review financial reports in Workday to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Maintain organized documentation to support audits and compliance requirements
• Collaborate with internal teams including Loan Servicing Accounting and program and grants management
• Assist with internal and external audit requests
• Follow established internal controls and financial policies to ensure compliance with federal and state requirements
• Participate in training and continuous improvement efforts related to Workday and accounting processes
