Numeral is building the modern tax compliance platform for growing ecommerce and SaaS businesses. Sales tax, VAT, registrations, filings, invoicing workflows, and compliance operations are painful, manual, and increasingly complex. We’re replacing that burden with software, automation, and deep operational expertise so our customers can focus on building their businesses.
We are a fast-growing, venture-backed team with a builder culture. We move quickly, operate with high ownership, and care deeply about building durable systems that can scale.
About the roleWe’re hiring an Accounting Manager to help build the accounting foundation for Numeral’s next stage of growth. Reporting to our Controller, you’ll be a hands-on owner of the month-end close, core accounting operations, AR/AP, billing and invoicing workflows, balance sheet reconciliations, audit readiness, and finance systems improvements.
This is a high-impact role for someone who likes clean books, tight processes, and building from first principles. You’ll take meaningful work off the Controller’s plate while helping Numeral move from early-stage finance processes to a scalable, audit-ready accounting function.
You’ll be a great fit if you can both do the work yourself and build the process so the work gets easier, faster, and more reliable over time.

Prepare balance sheet reconciliations across cash, AR, AP, prepaid expenses, accruals, deferred revenue utilizing ASC 606, fixed assets, payroll-related accounts, and other GL accounts
You’re comfortable leveraging AI to unblock yourself and create a process flow. The ideal candidate can problem solve and present solutions with minimal oversight
