At Benjamin, we're passionate about rewarding everyday actions through our MoMo’s (Money Moments). Benjamin is a new cash-rewards platform for consumers, merchants and gamers to earn cash, called Benjamin Money Moments, by completing daily tasks, playing casual games, viewing content and ads, and making everyday card purchases with cash back.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Conduct financial analysis, including variance analysis and trend identification.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations based on financial analysis.
- General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Internal Controls: Develop and implement effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and receivables.
- Audit and Compliance: Coordinate and manage audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and timely submission of audit deliverables.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the accounting function. Implement best practices to streamline workflows and enhance productivity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification is preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting roles, with significant experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and team leadership.
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and practices (GAAP).
- Experience with financial reporting software and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP).
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and meeting deadlines.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to interact and collaborate cross-functionally.
