Position Overview
We're looking for an experienced and hands- on Accounting Manager to join our team at CarOffer. Reporting to the Senior Director of Accounting , this role is a key contributor within the accounting organization and will collaborate closely with teams across the business, particularly FP& A and operational stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting expertise, a deep understanding of financial reporting, and the ability to lead and mentor others. This role will focus on critical areas such as payroll, accruals, prepaids, and expense accounting, and will help drive accurate and timely financial reporting in a dynamic, high- growth environment.

With a network of ~ 14,000 dealerships, we're reshaping how inventory is sourced and sold - and we're just getting started.
What You'll Do:
  • Serve as a go- to resource for accounting guidance and support across the business.
  • Lead payroll- related GL accounting activities and ensure thorough SOX documentation.
  • Review revenue and expense support prepared by the team to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Oversee the travel and expense ( T& E) process and related accounting.
  • Own and approve workflows for prepaids, accruals, and vendor invoices.
  • Partner cross- functionally on complex accounting issues, ensuring GAAP compliance.
  • Maintain and review key account reconciliations ( prepaids, accruals, payroll, inventory).
  • Support the successful execution of quarterly reviews and the year- end audit.
  • Help strengthen and document internal controls and process improvements.
  • Contribute to quarterly SEC reporting and various ad hoc projects and initiatives.

What You'll bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting and/ or public company experience.
  • Big 4 background strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and support team development.
  • Experience in technology or SaaS companies is highly desirable.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and the ability to explain complex topics clearly to non- accounting audiences.
  • Skilled in managing multiple priorities, meeting deadlines, and driving projects forward.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast- paced, high- growth environment.
  • Proficiency with accounting systems; experience with NetSuite is a plus.
