We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our finance team. This role will focus on managing and ensuring the accuracy of our financial operations, primarily in the France, cross-border transactions and different GAAPs. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in global financial reporting, tax regulations, and operational efficiency across multiple jurisdictions.  This role will report to the Global Head of Accounting, based in Paris, France.

What you'll do...

Financial Reporting

  • Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll entries/reconciliation, and general ledger activities
  • Prepare and analyze accurate financial statements and reports for international subsidiaries in compliance with local GAAP (French, US) and IFRS
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes for international entities.

Compliance and Tax

  • Monitor compliance with local tax laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with external auditors, tax consultants, and local accounting teams to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Manage VAT/sales taxes filings, corporate tax returns, and other regulatory submissions.

Cross-Border Operations

  • Oversee multi-currency transactions, foreign exchange gains/losses.
  • Coordinate intercompany reconciliations, allocations, eliminations and verify reciprocity.

Process Improvement

  • Develop and implement best practices for international accounting processes and systems.
  • Provide recommendations to enhance financial systems and streamline global operations.

Collaboration and Leadership

  • Develop, coach and mentor your team where high-quality work, personal accountability, resilience, #MakeItHappen attitude, and collaboration are expected
  • Serve as a key advisor to the business on international accounting and financial matters or accounting tools.

What you bring...

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; BTS compta-gestion, DCG, DSCG, or equivalent certification preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in international accounting, preferably in a multinational corporation and/or in accountant firm.
  • Strong knowledge of French GAAP, and international financial reporting standards (IFRS).
  • Experience with ERP/procurement systems (e.g. NetSuite, Coupa) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a global team environment.
  • Well-organized, able to formalize work and with good accounting logic
  • Fluency in English and French (written and spoken)
