Role
sFox is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager with a robust technical background in client money rules, accounting, budgeting, tax, transfer pricing, and financial reporting & analysis. The ideal candidate has a strong grasp of the financial services sector, ideally within money transmission licensed institutions or money service businesses. This role demands a strategic thinker who can deliver solutions, engage effectively with C-suite stakeholders, and communicate complex ideas concisely.
Responsibilities
- Financial Compliance & Client Money Rules: Ensure strict adherence to client money regulations, implementing and overseeing compliant practices and procedures to safeguard client assets.
- Accounting & Budget Management: Manage all accounting functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Prepare and review financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Conduct financial reporting analysis to evaluate financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Taxation & Transfer Pricing: Oversee tax planning, compliance, and transfer pricing activities to optimize tax efficiency while meeting international tax standards.
- Strategic Financial Planning: Develop and execute financial strategies that align with organizational objectives and market changes, supporting revenue generation and cost optimization.
- Engagement with C-Suite: Collaborate with senior leadership, providing financial insights and solutions to support decision-making. Present complex data and recommendations in a clear, actionable manner.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA, CMA, or similar certification preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or related areas within the financial services sector.
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills; familiarity with ERP systems and systems migration is an advantage.
- Prior experience in Fintech Industry preferably crypto currencies.
- Proven experience in the financial services industry, preferably within MTLs or MSBs.
- Strong technical knowledge of client money regulations, accounting principles, budgeting, tax, transfer pricing, and financial reporting analysis.
- Effective solutions provider, adept at troubleshooting financial issues and offering strategic advice.
- Clear, concise communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence C-suite executives.
- Analytical mindset, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
