The Role:
We are looking for an Accounting Manager who will primarily support the month-end close process for DailyPay's Accounting team. This position will report to the Director of Accounting and this role will require you to work across the broader organization, up to and including senior management. This is a wonderful opportunity for a dynamic leader who seeks broad responsibility and wants to make a difference. This role will be based in our HQ-NY Office. How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Assist in leading the month-end close process by reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations, and fluctuation analyses
  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP standards and Sarbanes-Oxley
  • Work with our internal and external audit teams to support the audit by reviewing and providing support in a timely manner
  • Identify, propose and drive process and efficiency improvements to month-end close process and other accounting processes
  • Manage the staff and seniors through mentorship, education and review
  • Perform ad hoc assignments when needed


What You Bring to The Team:

  • 5+ years of Accounting experience with 1+ years of Management experience
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Prior experience managing staff and/or senior accountants
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities and deadlines
  • Ownership mindset with a high degree of accountability
  • Strong leadership skills

Pay Transparency. DailyPay takes a market-based approach to compensation, which may vary depending on your location. United States locations are categorized into three tiers based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The salary ranges are listed by geographic tier. Additionally, this role may be eligible for variable incentive compensation and stock options. Where a candidate fits within the compensation range for a role is based on their demonstrated experience, qualifications, skills, and internal equity.
