The purpose of this role is to perform and lead financial reporting, control and analysis processes at the company, driving an appropriate control and compliance environment in line with Group policy, IFRS and VAS, teaming with functional and commercial partners to offer expert technical accounting knowledge and advice, and overseeing the production of insightful, high quality financial reporting to key stakeholders.
Job Description:
- Build and lead the team for monthly actual results timely and correctly.
- Supervise and ensure all accounting entries are posting & recognizing a line with forecast number delivered and approved.
- Prepare monthly/quarterly balance sheet account reconciliation.
- Monthly book revenue & cost in proper following a target provided by commercial & business team.
- Keep track and manage Interco transactions.
- Manage Fixed Asset and follow variance b/w Group policy and VAS.
- Implement yearly inventory stock state with IT & Admin department.
- Lead the team in the efficient completion of statutory and management reporting to the Management with a high quality and on a timely basis and ensures compliance with audit requirements through planning and day-to-day liaison.
- Monitor compliance with Group policies and VAS on financial reporting, through analysis and review of monthly, quarterly credit management, invoice billing, AR collection, bad debt provision and related transactions.
- Adhere to local regulations within local processes for vendor payments, client billings, tax returns, tax payments etc.
- Liaise with tax authorities for all tax matters and external audit for year-end financial statement.
- During tax audits, provide assistants and tax preparation work.
- Continually drive improvements in quality and efficiency of financial reporting processes, through structuring local team (direct reports) and processes.
- Complete other tasks as assigned.
Professional skills
- Finance/Accounting B.A.
- Over 3 year relevant experiences in Management Accounting, Financial reporting & Financial Analysis, knowledge of Advertising & Media industry is an advantage.Good knowledge of IFRS and VAS, accounting system (Fast, Bravo).
- Strong analytical abilities, with attention to detail
- The ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines across multiple work streams.
- Fluent English language skills
