Would you like to take full ownership of accounting in a growing SaaS and AI company? Momentum Software is looking for an Accounting Manager (m/f/d) who combines high-quality accounting with continuous improvement, automation, and close collaboration with the business.

About the Role

In this role, you will take full responsibility for accounting across the Nordic entities (primarily Swedish) within the consolidated group.

You will ensure high-quality closing processes, reporting, and compliance, while also driving the development of processes, systems, and ways of working.

You will work closely with management and key stakeholders and play a central role in creating structure, efficiency, and smart automation.

Your Responsibilities

  • Own and further develop the ongoing accounting for the group entities

  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closings in accordance with K3

  • Ensure accurate annual reports, financial reporting, and closing documentation

  • Coordinate VAT, tax, and statutory reporting

  • Act as the main contact for auditors and authorities

  • Contribute to strong internal controls, smarter processes, and increased automation and use of AI

  • Take a central role in managing the ERP platform Xledger

Your Profile

  • You have a strong background in accounting and enjoy combining operational delivery with process improvement. You are confident in closing processes, reporting, and regulatory requirements – and motivated to improve, simplify, and create structure

  • You hold a degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, as well as several years of experience in advanced accounting roles. You are experienced in financial closings and annual reporting

  • Experience with Xledger, K3/IFRS, and ideally a SaaS environment is an advantage

  • As a person, you are detail-oriented, self-driven, curious, and business-minded. You communicate clearly, take ownership, and enjoy driving improvements that have a tangible impact in daily operations

Skills Required

  • Degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
