ACCOUNTING MANAGER II

Accounting Manager responsible to ensure accurate, timely and consistent accounting and reporting including payroll, cash management, PO accruals, engineering cost allocation, NCS workforce planning and completion of additional, non-recurring special projects. Provides training and direction to team members, reviews performance and ensures proper procedures and internal controls are followed. ResponsibilitiesManage team members responsible for the following Process the accounting aspect of all Nabors� monthly payrolls including accruals, accrual reversals, adjustments, treasury fundings and distribution of labor reports Reconcile all payrolls to HCM labor distribution reports and GTN reports Payroll error correction and elimination for all BUs Salary and benefit account reconciliations and issue resolution for all BUs Preparation and submission of monthly cash packages Cash reconciliations in Hyperion ARM Reconciliation of NCS bank activity to the GL prior to end of close and adjusting entries ADP Payroll and Garnishment Wire entries Payroll Tax adjustments Maintenance of bank signatories including coordinating and assisting the local areas and law department with bank resolution documents in support of signatory changes Maintenance of appropriate petty cash custodians and impress balances Coordinate and assist the local areas and legal department with POA changes to ensure timely updates Preparation of check deposits and associated journal entries Non-systematic PO accrual preparation Allocate engineering costs to the business units and assist with engineering cost reporting NCS Hyperion workforce budget and quarterly forecasting (prepare the salary and compensation portion of budgets/forecasts) Consolidated Restricted Stock Taxes Payable reconciliation Record shared services PO accruals in the local ledgers Prepare Payroll Analytic Qualifications5 years of experience in a related area as an individual contributor 3-5 years of supervisory experience in accounting and reporting, cash management Strong Microsoft Excel and data query skills, with basic Word. Knowledge of Oracle accounting software and Hyperion beneficial. Dedicated professional with high personal standards and ability to maintain highly confidential information. Strong communication and organizational skills. Strong analytical skills and accounting technical knowledge. Proactive, results oriented with the ability to work well with people in all departments and levels of the organization.
