Accounting Manager - Contract

SUMMARY

Accounting manager for the Chlorovinyls business unit. Partner with commercial and operations leadership to provide strong financial analysis and business support. Own accurate accounting (US GAAP), internal controls/SOX compliance, monthly reporting to senior leadership, and support key business projects. Direct and coordinate the monthly forecast and annual budget processes.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide detailed financial analysis and business intelligence to support Chlorovinyls operations and performance.

• Partner with finance and business leaders to support and influence strategic decisions.

• Oversee monthly close for Chlorovinyls to ensure accurate results in line with US GAAP; resolve accounting issues that arise.

• Support business and operations leaders in preparing and explaining monthly, quarterly, and annual results.

• Ensure strong financial controls, reviews, and SOX compliance, including maintaining and testing key controls.

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.

• 10+ years of accounting experience required.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills are required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate as normally based in an office.  Some of the work may be required in the operating units which can require usage of required PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, etc.  May also result in exposure to outside elements and may require usage of stairs and elevators.
