Position Responsibilities:
- Reconcile credit card accounts using the Sage Intacct module
- Perform final review of client financials before submission to senior reviewers or client services
- Onboard new clients and assist with implementing new business concepts and systems
- Lead quarterly training sessions and ongoing development for team members
- Troubleshoot automation workflows and recommend process enhancements
- Test and implement new accounting processes and technologies
- Participate in departmental and firm-wide special projects
- Provide backup support across the team when needed
- Mentor, monitor, and guide junior team members to ensure quality and growth
- Assist team leads with performance metrics, team goals, and staff evaluations
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, or accounting
- Experience in the restaurant accounting industry is highly preferred, though not required
- Strong working knowledge of general ledger systems and bill pay platforms (Sage Intacct preferred)
- Experience with double-entry bookkeeping and monthly close processes
- Excellent attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- A collaborative leader who thrives in a team-focused environment
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Proactive, adaptable, and solution-oriented
- Tech-savvy with the ability to learn and implement new tools quickly
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
