Golfo De Salónica 73, 28033 MADRID, SpainWe're looking for an Accounting Lead (M/F) to lead and oversee the company's accounting operations, ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of financial records. This role will be responsible for maintaining adherence to accounting, tax, and internal control regulations while partnering with key stakeholders to support sound financial management and business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate daily accounting activities.
Oversee monthly closing processes.
Ensure the accurate recording of transactions and provisions.
Review and approve balance sheet account reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies and applicable standards (IFRS, US GAAP, or local regulations).
Coordinate internal and external audits.
Lead, develop, and evaluate the accounting team.
Implement improvements in processes, internal controls, and automation.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in accounting, including previous experience leading teams.
Strong knowledge of accounting and tax regulations.
Experience with ERP systems (JDEdwards.).
Advanced proficiency in Excel.
Advanced level of English (in multinational environments).
