Job DescriptionThe ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising the accounting team, ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with accounting and tax regulations. This role involves general ledger management and coordinating accounting operations. While the primary responsibility is overseeing the accounting team, a strong understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable is required.
Responsibilities:
📌 Supervise the accounting team, ensuring compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
📌 Support general ledger functions, including account reconciliations and monthly closing activities.
📌 Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations, staying updated on changes in accounting and tax laws.
📌 Contribute to the development and improvement of internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure financial reporting accuracy.
📌 Supervise and provide support for accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely processing and reconciliations.
📌 Work with the Accounting team and other departments to optimize accounting processes.
QualificationsQualifications:
✅ Advanced English proficiency.
✅ At least 3 years of accounting experience, including leadership exposure.
✅ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
✅ Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Oracle, Fusion, Smart View).
✅ Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and relevant tax regulations.
✅ Excellent analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
✅ Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
