Join Fintech’s office in Tampa, Florida as an Account Intern!
Essential Functions:
- Assist with daily settlement of B2B SBT transactions, including validation and processing of retailer payments and supplier disbursements
- Perform account reconciliations, investigate variances, and support resolution efforts
- Support funds processing activities, including cash application and payment tracking
- Assist in banking operations, including ACH file preparation, submission monitoring, and check processing
- Review transaction data for accuracy and completeness across internal systems
- Collaborate with Accounting, Treasury, and Operations teams to support timely and accurate financial processing
- Maintain documentation and support audit and compliance requests as needed
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and organizational skillsPhysical Requirements: This position is performed in a normal office environment. Physical demands require occasional lifting up to 15 lbs, sitting > 66% of the time, standing or walking > 33% of the time, talking, hearing, using hands to touch, handle, keyboard > 66% of the time.
