About this Opportunity

Inmar’s Summer Internship Program offers a dynamic and enriching experience designed to give students real-world exposure to a professional environment while contributing meaningfully to company initiatives. Interns will split their time between a high-impact cross-functional team project and department-specific responsibilities assigned by their direct manager.

The Accounting Automation Team develops and delivers technology-driven solutions to streamline accounting functions and reduce manual effort. We are seeking an intern to support our automation initiatives by working on assigned tasks, which capture real-time process improvement opportunities across the accounting function.

You’ll work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment, executing tasks aligned with current automation priorities. This role offers both hands-on exposure to tools like Alteryx, RPA, and Google App Scripts, and experience in business process evaluation and transformation.  You’ll also build your skills in process evaluation, workflow design, and solution testing. It’s a unique opportunity to see how automation is applied in real business settings and to make a measurable impact from day one.

What You’ll Do

• Support team initiatives in areas such as automating journal entries, reconciliations, analysis, data validations, and reporting processes.

• Assist in documenting process steps, gathering requirements, and testing automated solutions using tools such as Alteryx, Excel, Google Sheets, and ServiceNow RPA.

• Contribute to identifying and proposing new automation opportunities by analyzing existing workflows and bringing fresh ideas to streamline accounting processes.

• Collaborate with end-users to understand manual processes and help design more efficient, automated solutions that maintain accurate results.

Your Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or related area.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Excel (including Power Query), Alteryx, or Google Sheets. Familiarity with RPA tools (e.g., ServiceNow), Google Apps Script, or basic scripting (e.g., Python, SQL) is a plus.

• Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.

• Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
