Job Description:
The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for :
- Prepare and review monthly VAT returns for CZ entities.
- Reconcile VAT GL accounts, manage VAT overpayments, and support tax audits in cooperation with external advisors (EY).
- Handle incoming invoices, claims, credit notes, and vendor setup for SK entities.
- Execute and control weekly and monthly payments, including reporting and payment advices.
- Prepare accounting journals (APUT files) for duties, taxes, and special transactions.
- Maintain accurate records in Oracle, Excel, and APET, ensuring compliance and data integrity.
- Act as a key point of contact for internal teams, customers, and tax authorities.
- Support ad-hoc finance tasks, meetings, and training activities.
