We are currently looking to hire an Accounting Intern to join our Corporate team in Kirkland,WA (Remote)! This position allows for on-site, hybrid, or remote work.
Start Date: Immediate
Duration: 3 months with strong potential for extension
Schedule: Part-time, 15-20 hours per week on weekdays. At least half of weekly hours must be completed during standard East Coast business hours (typically 9am-5pm).
JOB DESCRIPTION
Accounting & Finance Internship with Concentric's corporate finance team. Gain hands-on experience with the complete revenue cycle, from project completion through invoicing and cash collection—while developing practical skills in accounting and financial operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with collecting all required information to produce customer invoices and assemble and create monthly invoices.
- Collects revenue by sending reminders and following up with customers
- 1099 vendor management support, including onboarding, compliance tracking, and ongoing communication
- Process vendor invoices by verifying transaction information, preparing disbursements, and obtaining authorization of payment.
- Prepare JE’s related to relevant responsibilities.
- Assist with monthly close and month-end reconciliations.
- Assist with process flow documentation
- Assist with testing and documentation of internal controls.
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be able to legally work in the country where this position is located without visa sponsorship.
- Current undergraduate student majoring in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field.
- Must have strong communication skills (verbal and written)
