Role: Accounting + Finance Intern
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Hybrid Accounting and Financial Planning & Analysis Intern. You will work closely with experienced professionals to support various financial tasks, including:

Accounting: Assist with general ledger tasks, account reconciliations, journal entries, audit requests and financial statement preparation.

FP&A: Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Develop financial models and reports to support strategic decision-making.

What you'll do:

• Assist with month-end close procedures, including accruals, fixed assets and other journal entries.
• Prepare financial reports and analyses.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting process, including data collection, analysis, and model development.
• Assist in obtaining audit requests and preparing financials statements and footnotes.
• Assist with ad-hoc projects and analyses as needed.

Who you are:

• To qualify for this internship, candidates must be enrolled as a junior or senior in college.
• Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with a GPA of 3.2+
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
  • Pivot Tables, Vlookup Formulas etc.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Other Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior internship or work experience in accounting or finance.
• Experience with financial modeling and forecasting.

Compensation: $20/hr
Expected hours: 40hr/week
