The Accounting Coordinator – Fixed Assets is responsible for managing and maintaining the company’s fixed asset records within the shared services framework. This role ensures accurate capitalization, depreciation, disposal, and reporting of fixed assets across multiple business units, while supporting compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and corporate policies.
Record acquisitions, transfers, disposals, and retirements of fixed assets in the accounting system. Ensure timely capitalization of assets in accordance with company policy and accounting standards. Maintain detailed fixed asset registers and reconcile them with the general ledger.
Prepare fixed asset schedules and reports for management, auditors, and regulatory requirements. Assist in internal and external audits by providing documentation and reconciliations.
