We are seeking a full time Accounting Coordinator in our Downtown Columbus office. This candidate will be proficient in Excel, organized, have strong attention to detail and be comfortable interacting with all layers of the firm.

Responsibilities:

• Accounts Payable - ensure the proper processing of requests submitted through the AP system to meet guidelines as set by the Firm
• Accounts Receivable - review the aging accounts receivables and take action as necessary to achieve collection standards set by the Firm
• Financial reporting
• Email the internal 80, 81, 85 reports to address time/cost entries that need to be transferred.
• Process petty cash requests and reconcile monthly.
• Review and approve all Chrome River invoice requests for the Columbus office and add general ledger coding to firm disbursements.
• Review and enter postage to office personal accounts.
• Manage the office personal accounts including cost transfers and payroll deductions.
• Record trust activity in 3E; deposit checks to the bank and issue checks out of trust.
• Prepare Ohio State Bar Association and Columbus Bar Association dues and reporting.
• Maintain internal file system for the accounting department and mail client invoices/vendor payments.
• Prepare client reminder statements and follow up with collections as needed.
• Assist with the monthly reconciliation of the purchasing card.
• Assist Office Administrator with requests as needed.
