The Accounting Coordinator provides administrative support to the CFO and other Finance management staff. Responsibilities are performed in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures. This position will report directly to the VP of Finance.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting North Fork Mono Casino’s culture and always demonstrating exemplary Service Standards.
- Responsible for answering phones, greeting and escorting guests when they visit the department.
- Ordering supplies and maintaining inventory for the department.
- Prepare letters and memoranda, and perform other projects as needed for the Director.
- Responsible for generating reports from various systems as needed / requested.
- Sort and distribute mail.
- Responsible for updating departmental bulletin boards.
- Communicate relevant information to department managers and Team Members on a monthly basis.
- Schedule / plan various meetings.
- Maintain departmental calendar.
- Special projects and tasks as necessary.
- Participates in Safety Committee.
- Other job-related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
- Ability to set and achieve high standards of performance.
- Able to logically and independently plan, organize, and complete work.
- Must be flexible, able to handle multiple tasks, and establish priorities effectively.
- Able to maintain confidentiality.
- Must have basic computer skills and working knowledge of Word and Excel.
- High School diploma or GED required; college‐level coursework preferred.
- Previous experience in accounting or administrative assistant roles preferred.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Commission, which includes passing a background investigation.
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- All work is performed on site in Madera, CA.
- Requires manual dexterity to perform job related functions.
- Ability to sit, stand or walk for the duration of their shift.
Team Members will be in constant contact with fellow Team Members and Guests. Work includes the maintenance and care of the assigned work area. Work is typically performed in an office environment. However, work may be in an area which may be unusually hot, cold, noisy, and may contain secondhand smoke. Work may be performed in a confined area. Work may be scheduled at various hours, including working overtime, and during evening, weekends, and holidays. Work may entail trained chemical usage. Work is in a high volume, fast paced environment with frequent interruptions.

What We Do
North Fork Mono Casino & Resort is a new entertainment destination opening in Fall 2026 in Madera, California, on Highway 99. The resort will feature over 2,400 slot machines, 40 table games, and eight dining options, including two full-service restaurants and six quick-serve venues, serving as a hub for gaming and hospitality in the Central Valley.
