Our Accounting team members are seeking a conscientious, and detailed Accounting Coordinator. This individual will love data managment and be an expert in Excel to support the client management accounting system and in Workday.
This Accounting Coordinator will be on site at our East Pasadena, CA headquarters at:
320 N Halstead, Pasadena CA 91107.

Hours: Monday - Friday
Pay rate: $22.00 - $28.00 hourly pay rate - Depending on experience - Overtime eligible.
Essential Functions include, but are not limited to the following:*
- Enhances executive’s effectiveness by providing information management support
- Completes projects and special assignments by establishing objectives; determining priorities; managing time; monitoring progress; and problem-solving
- Prepare project organization and communication charts
- Creates and composes correspondence for Supervisor(s) as needed, providing error-free final product with minimal number of drafts.
- Coordinates schedules and calendars for assigned executive/supervisor.
- Handles advanced support for staff meetings and activities (minutes and distribution).
- Reads, sorts and routes incoming sensitive mail for Supervisor, bringing attention to time sensitive or priority mail as needed.
- Acts as liaison or representative for Supervisors in routine administrative activities, conference calls, inquiries or other matters as designated.
- Prepares, organizes and maintains corporate documents and records (i.e. notices, minutes, memos, articles).
- Assists with other projects, functions and duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Strong knowledge of business environment and office procedures
- Knowledge of maintenance of filing systems, both electronic and physical
- Ability to identify Supervisors’ needs and independently resolve potential problems.
- Ability to make decisions, exercising reasonable independent judgment and discretion with minimal guidance and/or supervision.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately disseminate information.
- Ability to follow up on task commitments and give updates as needed.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining courtesy and professionalism.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of Google Suite programs.
- Strong organizational and proofreading skills, with attention to detail.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent. College degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years administrative experience at an executive level or equivalent related experience.
- Accounting background preferred
