We are looking to add a new member to our Accounting team who will manage our monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and reporting. This role involves collaborating with various departments, preparing statutory financial statements, and filing tax returns. The ideal candidate will lead projects to improve financial processes, perform bookkeeping tasks, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. Responsibilities also include tax computations, liaising with external associates, and assisting with global projects.

As a Cognyter you will: 

• Responsibilities include our monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and reporting.
• Working with interfaces within Finance, Audit team, subsidiaries, Corporate and other departments (Operations, IT, Purchasing, Sales).
• Leading projects to improve our financial processes.
• Perform monthly bookkeeping and other accounting tasks in accordance with existing internal processes and accounting standards.
• Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes for Group Companies
• Perform Tax Computations, Involvement in Transfer Pricing, and identify any tax risks
• Liaise with external associates such as auditors and banks on a global scale
• Responsible for the planning, implementation, management, and running of all the finance activities of the company, including providing top-line business planning, tax, budgeting, forecasting and detailed cash flow analysis.
• Perform any other ad-hoc related duties as per management's request
• Assist Management with Global projects
• Assure adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Policies

Requirements

For that mission you’ll need:

• 3+ years of experience in in a similar position or in the professional services sector.
• Partly Qualified or Qualified Accountant (eg, ACA, ACCA) will be considered an advantage.
• Experience from one of the Big 4 accounting firms, with demonstrable technical, financial accounting, and reporting skills, will be considered an advantage. 
• Experience with High-Tech companies will be considered an advantage
• Knowledge of accounting standards IFRS (US GAAP knowledge will be an advantage)
• Experience in working with ERP systems (Oracle would be considered an advantage).
• Fluent English- speak, read, and write a must
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Advanced skills in database systems and spreadsheet applications
