Job Title: Accounting Close-Reference Data, Senior Analyst

Corporate Title: Senior Analyst

The Accounting Close Reference Data Team supports the entire DB Finance organization (covering all regions), through the validation and implementation of static data requests as aligned with financial data standards, data and hierarchy management. The Accounting Close Reference Data Team ensures data integrity with validations and quality checks of all Finance owned static data as utilized for the production of all Financial and Management Reporting. The Accounting Close team ensures all transactions are correctly accounted for and provides a golden source financial information data set upon which all internal and external reporting is based.

Reference Data Senior Analyst will support the entire DB Finance organization (covering all regions), through the validation and implementation of static data requests as aligned with financial data standards, data, and hierarchy management. You will primary responsible for processing ownership and expertise in production activities and engage with direct clients and business partners in the delivery of tasks and escalates issues affecting production.

Your key responsibilities

• Prepares monthly KPI reports, establish and implement procedures to monitor, measure, and improve performance against SLAs and KPIs

• Provides process ownership & expertise in production activities, escalating production issues to Team Lead in a timely manner.

• Implements process improvement projects and executes tasks/activities in relation to projects, follows/Completes all governance and compliance requirements (i.e. regular update of SOPs) and actively participates in cost-saving initiatives.

• Engages with direct clients and business partners in the delivery of tasks.

Your skills and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in finance related courses (e.g. Accountancy, Business, Economics and Banking & Finance)

• Minimum of 3 years  working experience in quality review or subject matter expertise in area of finance master/reference data management, financial audit or finance re-engineering  gained from  the Financial Services, Audit or BPO industry would be beneficial; 

• Working knowledge/experience of SAP BW & R3, SAP MDG or SAP Hana or similar ERP; Intermediate computer skills (data entry, email, word processing, worksheets, simple macros) and I systems flow, process workflow, and data management skills.

• Analytical and problem-solving skills combined with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• A team player who is collaborative yet able to work independently.

• Capable to deal confidently and professionally with different types of stakeholders and   effectively manage deadlines and quality control at the same time.
