Accounting Business Partner

Based in our Boulder, Colorado location, you will serve as a key Accounting Business Partner supporting the Flow Measurement Products business. In this role, you will leverage your accounting expertise to ensure accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and compliance with accounting standards while partnering with business leaders to support operational and strategic objectives.

You will work closely with the Controller, Cost Accounting teams, and Global Financial Services (GFS) teams in Costa Rica and Manila to drive financial performance, improve business processes, and provide timely insights that support decision-making. AS AN ACCOUNTING BUSINESS PARTNER, YOU WILL:

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities that are not centralized within Global Financial Services.
• Perform variance analysis and provide clear explanations for financial results and accounting fluctuations.
• Partner with business leaders, the Controller, and Global Financial Services teams to ensure accounting processes are completed accurately, timely, and in compliance with company policies.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, balance sheet account reviews, financial statement preparation, and management reporting.
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls while supporting internal and external audit activities, statutory reporting requirements, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate on process improvement initiatives and systems projects that enhance reporting capabilities, operational efficiency, and data accuracy.
• Leverage technology, including AI-enabled tools, to improve financial processes, reporting, and analysis.
• Provide guidance and support to business partners and colleagues on financial processes, accounting best practices, and compliance requirements.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Five (5) or more years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Experience performing financial analysis, variance analysis, and reconciliations.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and influence across multiple levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to continuous improvement.
• Ability to work effectively with global shared services organizations and cross-functional teams.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States. Sponsorship will not be provided for this position.

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

• CPA, CMA, or other relevant professional certification.
• Manufacturing industry experience.
• Experience supporting multinational organizations and global shared services environments.
• Experience with Oracle or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
• Experience participating in financial system implementations or business process improvement initiatives.
• Experience utilizing data analytics, automation, or AI tools to improve financial processes and reporting.

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is $85,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.​
