What is needed for this job as our Accounting Associate:
- 2+ years of proven accounting experience
- Associate Degree in Accounting (or greater) or other relevant certification
- Experience working in a matrix organization or a multi-location organization
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing financial data
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and vendors
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
The responsibilities we will trust you with as our Accounting Associate:
- Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department
- Prepare and maintain up to date accounting documents and records
- Process financial transactions on daily, weekly, and monthly basis
- Account balance reconciliation
- Provide assistance and support to company personnel
- Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
- Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas
- Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
