About the Role
We are looking for an Accounting Associate to provide reliable accounting and financial support to international clients in a fully remote environment.
This role is ideal for an organized, analytical, and detail-oriented bilingual professional with 3–5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related role. You will support day-to-day financial operations by maintaining accurate financial records, performing account and bank reconciliations, supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable, preparing financial reports, analyzing costs, assisting with payroll and tax-related tasks, and supporting audits and budgeting activities.
The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, is comfortable working with financial data and spreadsheets, and can manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update accurate financial records, accounting data, and financial spreadsheets.
- Record and review daily financial transactions and support the maintenance of balance sheets and accounting records.
- Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and ensure financial records are accurate.
- Manage and support accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) activities.
- Process invoices and coordinate payment-related follow-ups with clients, suppliers, and business partners.
- Support monthly payroll processes and maintain accurate payroll and financial documentation.
- Analyze fixed and variable costs and assist with tracking tax payments and other financial obligations.
- Prepare, organize, and maintain financial reports for internal and client use.
- Provide accounting and administrative support during budget preparation and financial planning activities.
- Assist with quarterly and annual audit preparation, including gathering and organizing financial documentation.
- Review financial information and reports to identify inconsistencies, missing information, or potential discrepancies.
- Maintain organized digital accounting files and supporting documentation.
- Support other accounting, finance, and financial operations tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Fluent English (C1/C2) and Spanish.
- 3–5 years of professional experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or a related role.
- Practical experience with bank reconciliations, financial transactions, accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and financial records.
- Experience preparing or supporting financial reporting and financial analysis.
- Experience working with payroll, tax-related information, budgeting, or audit documentation.
- Strong proficiency with spreadsheets and financial data, including Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
- Experience using accounting, finance, ERP, or other financial management systems preferred.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and numerical accuracy.
- Excellent organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks independently.
- Ability to handle confidential financial information professionally.
- Ability to work independently and reliably in a fully remote environment.
- Quiet home office, stable internet connection (≥10 Mbps download / 2 Mbps upload), and backup internet connection.
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

- Hourly rate equivalent to USD $696–$1,044/month, based on experience.
