AGP is seeking a dynamic and talented (Senior) Accounting Associate to join our team in Omaha, NE. This position supports our soy processing plants with soybean meal quality claims and freight invoice processing. Responsibilities:
Process soybean meal quality claims in accordance with NOPA standard guidelines
Monthly reconciliations of quality claim reporting
Process daily bean and meal truck freight invoices for payment
Daily and monthly freight reconciliations
Work with merchandisers to resolve discrepancies
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous accounting and general clerical experience are preferred (required for senior level)
Excellent skills using Oracle, Excel and other Microsoft Office products
Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with management, merchandisers, and co-workers.
Effective analytical, problem solving, planning, and organization skills.
