Job Summary
We are very excited to welcome our new Accounting Specialist, NALA colleague to our team!
The role is based in our Budapest GBS (hybrid model combining office & remote work). You’ll join a team of agile, customer-focused thinkers who collaboratively solve difficult business problems.
An Accounting Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. This role involves processing transactions, reconciling accounts, and generating financial reports.
The team support North America and Latin America. Please note that in this role the working hours are mainly 9am to 5:30pm but during closings from 1pm until 9:30pm.
Key Responsibilities
Record financial transactions, including expenses and sales revenue.
Process payments to vendors and utilities.
Send invoices to customers and follow up on payments.
Reconcile accounts and ensure all entries are accurate.
Prepare and generate financial reports as needed.
Assist with payroll processing and tax filings.
Identify and correct any discrepancies or errors in financial records.
Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal teams to resolve any financial issues.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of proven experience in an Accounting or similar role.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
Must have working knowledge of general accounting procedures and process including GAAP
Excellent English language knowledge, both written and verbal.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial legislation.
Excellent time management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
