Job Summary:
Assists with account reconciliation, analysis, journal entry preparation and data entry. Assists with the month-end close process. Performs activities under direct supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Assists with compiling, consolidating and conducting basic analysis of accounting and finance information. Assists with preparation of basic journal entries. Provides assistance with monthly and annual account reconciliations, under direct supervision. Assists with preparation of tables, charts, and other exhibits for reports. May perform basic accounting projects or participate as a team member in basic projects. Performs ad hoc reporting requests as needed.

Experience:

The position will be required to handle the Cash flow management - investment & redemption processing, Banking relationship, Month close activity, FEMA compliances – GR waiver & Aged AR extension.
- Cash Flow Management – Daily monitoring of cash flow. Investing the surplus funds in MF, Redeeming in case of deficit
- Extension request for unrealised aged export transactions for all entities – coordinating with CS, BU & bank teams to ensure timely submissions on monthly basis.
- Closing activities – accounting entries related to investment including preparation of investment register, FD & bonds documentation and interest & TDS working thereon, Preparation of schedule and uploading the same on portal on monthly basis.
- Coordination with CTB, TAX team & auditors during stat, quarterly & tax audits
- Banking operations – documentation, KYC process, onboarding users for online setup with different banks.
- GR waiver, issuance, closure & MIS Reporting – timely publishing of MIS and reports as per timeline
- Generating Purchase Order – issuing PO to vendors, as required
- LC/BG issuance – coordination with bank for establishing BG/LC as per request
- Stakeholder Management – working closely with internal and external stakeholder
Skills Required
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred
- 2-4 years of relevant experience
