About the RoleWe're looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Associate to join our finance team on a long-term contract basis. In this role, you'll primarily support accounts payable and chargeback processing, with opportunities to take on additional accounting responsibilities as the team's needs evolve. This is a great fit for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys hands-on financial work, and is looking for a stable, ongoing engagement.
What You'll Do- Process and manage accounts payable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate payments
- Review, research, and resolve chargebacks
- Perform accurate, high-volume data entry into accounting systems
- Reconcile invoices, statements, and vendor accounts
- Assist with month-end close activities and other accounting tasks as needed
- Collaborate with the Accountant and broader finance team on ad hoc projects and process improvements
- Maintain organized documentation to support audit and compliance needs
RequirementsWhat We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Experience with SAP preferred
- Experience with Yooz (or similar AP automation software) a plus
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas)
- Excellent data entry accuracy and attention to detail
- A team player who is flexible and comfortable taking on new tasks as priorities shift
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Hybrid schedule based out of our Boston office
- Hourly, long-term contract
