Key Responsibilities:
- Support daily operations of the accounting and payroll departments
- Enter and maintain records related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and inventory
- Process payroll and manage related documentation
- Maintain and organize employee files, hiring packets, and weekly filing systems
- Perform general administrative and data entry tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- 2–3 years of professional experience in a corporate accounting department (construction industry experience preferred)
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- Familiarity with general accounting principles
- Experience using accounting and payroll systems; Sage software experience is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
- Able to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with problem-solving aptitude
- Must be able to work onsite in San Jose
