We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Accounting Assistant to join our Finance team in Langley, BC.
Reporting to the Team Lead, Treasury Services, you will be responsible for working with and supporting the Treasury Services team with a focus on cash up and accounts receivable processes and administrative duties.
You will be responsible for:
- Preparing daily and monthly reconciliations.
- Reviewing daily sales.
- Troubleshooting POS software issues.
- Liaising with retail stores to provide support to cash offices.
- Preparing journal entries and other accounting duties as required.
- Supporting Accounts Receivable with billings and collections.
- Analyzing and processing credit applications.
- Processing applications for corporate credit accounts.
- Performing ad-hoc reconciliations and other administrative tasks as required.
You have:
- Completed or are currently enrolled in a recognized accounting diploma program OR equivalent work experience.
- At least 1 year of related accounting experience, ideally within a retail environment.
- A solid understanding of basic accounting principles (i.e. debits and credits).
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and Word.

- An excellent communicator, both verbal and written, with strong interpersonal skills.
- Detail oriented with attention to accuracy.
- A sound analytical, critical thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Able to work independently and as a part of a team.
- A great multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment with the ability to work under pressure and deliver.

Compensation Details:
$43,680.00 - $54,600.00
The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
