About the Role: We are looking for an Accounting Assistant to join our team in Blue Ash, OH. In this role, you will:
- Provide accounting support using QuickBooks Online.
- Assist the Project Manager with contract processing.
- Track purchase orders and ensure accurate data entry.
- Handle office management duties such as sorting mail and maintaining supplies.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: Associate degree in accounting preferred.
- Experience:
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
- Experience with accounts receivable and payable.
- Experience maintaining and reconciling checking and credit card accounts.
- Experience with journal entries for sales tax, payroll, and other expenses.
- Skills:
- Strong Excel skills for managing spreadsheets.
- Basic math skills for tax purposes, reconciling accounts, and calculating commissions.
- Problem-solving abilities, especially while multitasking.
- Detail-oriented with a background in commercial construction preferred.
