#CareersThatKickSaas! TrueContext Finance team is growing and looking for an experienced and calculated Accounting Analyst to join the team. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis, in this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accounting systems and company transactions. Key Responsibilities:
- Record and pay vendor invoices while ensuring they are accurate, and process approvals are completed
- Recording of entries from bank statements and monthly bank reconciliations
- Process payroll (Canada, US & UK)
- Record and maintain corporate credit cards
- Foreign exchange adjustments
- Assist with month-end reconciliations of AP, cash and other accounting figures
- Responsible for the reconciliation and submission of payroll taxes and remittances
- Support the financial year-end audit process
- Review staff expense claims
- Assist with other projects and duties as required
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
- Strong organizational skill and attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy with exceptional follow up skills
- Good understanding of basic bookkeeping, reconciliations and accounts payable principles
- Basic financial/accounting concepts
- Demonstrates analytical skills
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with MS Word and Excel
- Experience with NetSuite is considered an asset
