Who We're Looking For 

We're excited to add an Accounting Analyst to our Finance team. The Accounting Analyst will be exposed to all aspects of the company's Billing, A/P, and A/R, financial transactions, financial reporting, and month-end close. 

What You'll Do

  • Prepare the monthly client invoicing including month end time reconciliation and ensuring customers are billed correctly through the project management software and on time 
  • Assist in the monthly financial close process, ensuring timely recording of transactions, processing of journal entries, and reconciling account balance 
  • Manage cash application and process payments with our banks in a timely manner 
  • Process and enter vendor invoices and credit card transactions while ensuring proper management approval 
  • Participate in strategic financial projects, including ERP updates, expense reimbursement software, or other software systems 
  • Participate in the ongoing development/establishment of accounting policies and procedures and operational strategies, including reviewing and implementing process and system changes 
  • Manage reconciliation of payments, transactions and licensing from strategic partners 
  • Assist with variable compensation calculations 
  • Maintain financial security by following and enhancing internal controls 
  • Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance 
  • Interact at all levels and with budget owners or other stakeholders to produce a timely, efficient, and accurate month-end close and all internal management and financial reporting through an annual report 
  • Responsible for hierarchy and scalability in the chart of accounts and accuracy in the general ledger and financial statements and has ultimate authority over classification and booking of all transactions 
  • Partner with the Controller in the preparation of annual operating budgets and annual audited financial statements
  • Build and utilize working relationships with internal business partners across the organization
  • Reviewing SOWs for accuracy and other objectives mitigating company risk 

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance 
  • Have a sound knowledge of accounting principles 
  • Proven ability to understand the big picture while also having attention to detail as it relates to financial data
  • Professional experience with NetSuite
  • Proven experience with scheduling or project management tools 
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Comfortable with client outreach
  • Demonstrated ability respond to requests for service from all of your clients in an effective and timely manner 
  • Proven flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities
  • Demonstrated high level of integrity
  • Ability to take action in challenging situations and deal with uncertainty
