About the Position:
As an Accounting Analyst, you will work closely with the Accounting Manager to support client and agency accounting functions. This position plays an important role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting fiscal operations, preparing financial reports, and ensuring the smooth financial operation of ANR and the nonprofit organizations we serve.

- Salary Range: $50,000 to $57,000/per year

Responsibilities Include:
- Complete monthly county and state invoicing accurately and on time; identify and resolve billing issues with vendors.
- Post financial activity for various clients to spreadsheets for analysis and control; review for accuracy and identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Perform payroll and accounts payable functions.
- Complete bank, balance sheet and trial balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis.
- Assist the Accounting Manager with all aspects of agency audits.
- Prepare grant and agency budgets and related financial reports.
- Crosstrain in fiscal functions, maintain a working understanding of fiscal positions, and provide coverage for fiscal vacancies as needed.
- Assist with training new fiscal staff.
- Attend internal and external meetings related to program operations, as directed by the Accounting Manager.
- Perform accounting functions for ANR clients, including general ledger activity, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Assist with the start-up of ANR services for new clients.
- Other duties as assigned to support the mission of the agency.

Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in accounting or finance
- 5-7 years of fiscal experience, including 3 years of experience working with computerized financial management systems
- Preferred experience: Experience in nonprofit financial reporting or accounting
- Preferred experience: Experience with QuickBooks Online, SAGE Intacct, or similar accounting software
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and work independently
- Ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion and maintain confidentiality
- Act 33/34 and FBI clearances will be required
- Must pass a physical, TB, and drug screen
Skills Required
