Responsibilities
- Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring tax-related entries are accurately reflected.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure proper accounting of all cash transactions.
- Support the month-end close process by ensuring accurate tax-related entries and reconciliations are completed on time.
- Prepare and submit tax returns while ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal tax regulations.
- Review and reconcile tax accounts to guarantee accurate reporting.
- Discover potential tax savings and process enhancements, provide insights on tax implications for budgeting, forecasting, and overall financial reporting.
- Assist with internal and external audits concerning taxation.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external tax consultants to ensure correct tax treatment of financial transactions.
- Keep detailed and current records of tax filings, payments, and obligations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is a must.
- Experience 2–3 years in accounting roles with a focus on taxes.
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations, experience with tax software, and proficiency in Excel.
- Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to work under deadlines.
- Proactive, responsible, and capable to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent English is a must.
