Accounting Analyst, Sr

Job Description:

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities, including balance sheet account reconciliations, coordination and support of internal and external audits, and review of financial reports as required;
• Prepare reports on the company’s financial position, including balance sheet and income statement variances, and communicate financial results to management;
• Review monthly financial statements in accordance with Brazilian GAAP (BRGAAP) and U.S. GAAP (USGAAP);
• Demonstrate knowledge and coordination capability in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections, proposing improvements to optimize results;
• Enhance accounting systems and procedures, and implement corrective actions when necessary;
• Review the calculation and compliance of direct and indirect taxes, ensuring adherence to applicable regulations;
• Ensure proper control and accounting of fixed assets, including additions, disposals, and transfers;
• Analyze expenses, monthly balance sheets, and project income statements, reviewing and implementing actions based on these analyses;
• Ensure compliance with budgets, timelines, and performance targets;
• Have knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and intercompany transactions processes;
• Identify risks and opportunities related to the company’s financial performance;
• Ensure the accuracy of monthly inventory records;
• Coordinate and supervise the annual physical inventory count;
• Identify and correct discrepancies between accounting, tax data, and physical inventory results;
• Propose improvements in inventory control processes to enhance the accuracy of tax and operational records;
• Comply with company policies, procedures, standards, and established work processes and management systems;
• Perform other duties related to the role and business processes.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, administration, economics, finance or related field.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience
• Technical Skills: Oracle Netsuite, Office advanced, Power BI intermediate
• Communication: Basic English
