Job Description:
The Accounting Analyst is responsible for recording and reporting financial data, providing support to the GDC management team, accurately recording, and reporting general ledger activity. The Accounting Analyst reports directly to the Director of General Ledger and Financial Reporting.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Maintain the general ledger accounting
- Prepare reconciliations of accounts
- Prepare journal entries, reconcile financial statements and accounts, and review data for accuracy
- Perform month-end account closing activities and reconciliations
- Reconcile bank account and investment statements
- Prepare monthly expense and revenue accruals as necessary in accordance with GAAP
- Assist with Balance Sheet preparation and Monthly Account reconciliations
- Maintain and update Fixed Assets spreadsheet
- Review cash deposits and prepare cash receipt journal entries
- File and maintain all journal entries for internal and audit purpose.
- Distribute monthly financials
- Assist in automating processes and procedures
- Assist with financial audits
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of General Ledger and Financial Reporting
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Possess 10+ years of general ledger experience. Bachelor's degree in business or accounting preferred.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Proficient with Microsoft office programs
- Experience with Oracle accounting applications
- Must possess analytical skills and evaluation techniques
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
- Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail

$104,200.00 - $182,400.00
