We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Analyst to support our financial operations primarily in Canada, with additional responsibilities related to Colombian entities. This role focuses on accurate bookkeeping, reconciliations, and support for monthly closings, ensuring compliance with internal policies and local accounting standards.
You will work closely with the Finance Manager and external accounting firms to ensure all financial records are accurate, complete, and timely.
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in accounting, preferably with exposure to Canadian or international accounting standards.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Xero) and online payment tools (e.g., Stripe).
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with remote and international teams.
- Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
Key Responsibilities :
- Record and maintain all daily accounting transactions for Canada and Colombia.
- Support the preparation and closing of monthly financial statements and related reports.
- Assist with tax compliance and filings under supervision.
- Perform bank and account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy across all ledgers.
- Monitor and record expenses, revenues, and vendor invoices in accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, Stripe, Kajabi).
- Support payroll and expense management processes
- Help manage multi-currency transactions and intercompany reconciliations.
- Provide support for budget tracking and variance analysis.
- Maintain documentation for audits and ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations.
- Assist in vendor payments and client billing
- Collaborate in the administrative and accounting setup of the new Bogotá office, including POS and payment systems.
